Social and Community Participation
With the NDIS
It is widely recognised that social and recreation activities are an important part of life and can contribute to your individual goals and improving your health and well being. Social and community participation looks different for everyone and can be discussed further with your allocated NDIS Support Coordinator.
Carbal NDIS Services Provide Social and Recreational Activities Including:
- visiting friends and family;
- active hobbies such as bike riding or walking for exercise;
- playing sport;
- going places for fun, such as shopping or visiting a museum;
- relaxing, like meditation or yoga;
- learning new skills; eg. art classes or music lessons.
Extraordinary Supports
Carbal also works with many NDIS clients to provide extraordinary supports that require more in-depth planning such as travelling to see family, participating in cultural or entertainment events or assisting clients with the journey return to their Country.
Carbal is able to provide all required transport to participate in these supports.
