Carbal Growing
Deadly Families

Carbal Medical Services is dedicated to providing culturally appropriate healthcare, support, and information to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women, children, and their families in Toowoomba and Warwick.

Our maternal and child health service, Carbal Growing Deadly Families, consists of a committed team of midwives, Aboriginal Health Workers, support workers, and child health nurses.

Services

Carbal understands the first five years are important for your jarjum’s growth and learning. During this time, your jarjum’s brain forms many connections, setting the stage for how they learn, stay healthy, and behave throughout their life. Good experiences and caring relationships during these early years shape their future abilities, feelings, and health.

Growing a strong, healthy family is a journey, one that brings together many aspects and calls for different kinds of support and services along the way. No matter where you’re at, we’re here to walk with you through it all.
