We work closely with clients, practitioners, NDIA Planners and Local Area Coordinators to support participants to get the plan they need and to make the best use of the funds available.
Over time Carbal has developed a large network of NDIS providers and a strong knowledge base regarding the operational guidelines and processes needed to navigate the scheme’s systems and processes.

What is a Support Coordinator?
A support coordinator connects people eligible for the NDIS to access supports and outreach support services.
What can a Support Coordinator Assist Me With?
Carbal’s NDIS Support Coordinators can help you in many ways depending on your preferences and choices.
They can help you to:
- Understand and use your NDIS plan
- Make the most of your funded supports
- Access outreach support and mainstream services
- Build your ability to become more independent
- Connect with people in your life; such as family, friends and carers to help you achieve your goals
- Connect with providers
- Decide when you want to access supports and services and how much you want to pay for these
- Help you with your service agreements

NDIS Recovery Coaches
What is a Recovery Coach?
A Recovery Coach is a qualified individual who helps those with social and emotional wellbeing issues (also known as psychosocial disabilities).
They are sometimes referred to as mental health peer workers, NDIS life coaches or life coaches. These coaches give the time, attention and respect to those who struggle to live resourcefully due to social and emotional wellbeing issues.
What Can a Recovery Coach Help Me With?
An NDIS Recovery Coach’s main focus is to improve the social and emotional wellbeing of participants.
They help those who don’t have the ability to plan tasks in their everyday life.
They can help you develop a recovery plan and to break down the NDIS plan into achievable goals, feeling more active, engaged and connected to community.
They are there to help you whenever you need it, even out of normal business hours.
Having a Recovery Coach as part of your team means you never need to be alone.
