NDIS Daily Living Assistance
According to the NDIS, daily living entails all the household routines and activities that are naturally completed throughout the span of an average day including getting out of bed, brushing teeth, eating, drinking, washing the dishes, bathing, doing laundry etc.
Supports for daily living funded by the NDIS also include additional help with day-to-day tasks such as housekeeping and garden upkeep.
Examples of Daily Living Assistance Include:
Carbal’s NDIS team can assist clients with:
- Main daily needs such as showering, shaving, dressing etc;
- Medication administration and follow-up;
- Domestic assistance – like help with the washing or cleaning around the home or repairs;
- Shopping, meal planning & cooking;
- Physical fitness training support.
Transport
Carbal understands that accessing reliable transport can be one of the the biggest hurdle for many of our clients. That is why we have a fleet of cars and drivers at the ready to support you to access the services you need.
Under the NDIS, Carbal can provide free transport services as part of the Daily Living Assistance. Be sure to talk to your Support Coordinator to book your transport prior to any appointments,
